Kings Creek 4 - Canyon

Lassen Volcanic National Park. Sept 3 - 6, 2004.

(top, down) On the way back we took the horse trail. It was a little longer, a little less steep, not too poopy and provided some incredible vistas of the Kings Ck canyon and the surrounding high country.

Sunday night Jim & Betty made chili verde and red wine for dinner. (There is never any problem satisfying my hot pepper craving when I hang out with these guys!) And we had another campfire. The nights were cold, but not bitterly cold. The skies were clear and the stars were awesome!
